Laying tracks like "Deutsche Bahn" or "Bundesbahn"...
When the power feedings are
correct, the first trial run can be performed. Best is to use a well known
loco with more than 2 axles - not too sensitive in power pick up from the
tracks. Here 99 6001 (ex Harz Mountain Railways) does the first movements
on the new led track. Laying tracks is very simple: Make a plain basis
of bricked stone, then lay the track on the surface. Take some bricked
stone and put in on the track. "Overflow" should be removed by a brushing.
Wait a few days, and the bricked stone will fix the track tightly. Here
the bricked stone is very bright, this will change within a few days also.
The next rain will darken the stone.
The "Flyer" is the best tool
to check the right position of the tracks finally. This machine does not
accept any wrong angles / connections of the track. Therefore the "Flyer"
has dumped several times - without taking harm -into the pond...
Then you can make real traffic. The upper board of the bridge must be reworked - the sun has put too much power on it ...
